We've all seen it in the movies. Two people stand on each side of a corner waiting for the other to move. Both are aware of the other and know that the other wants to shoot them.
This invention would be of great help to these characters - at least if it works as intended. Our hero would simply have to put the gun around the corner, and hope the bullet actually follows the barrel instead of exploding. Assuming it does not explode, the bad guy should be dead and our hero should get the woman of his dreams.
The problem with this invention is quite frankly that it probably does not work outside of Hollywood. In Hollywood it just destroys a good plot. That means it's probably not in much demand.
